Studio Policies

Community First

1

While our primary focus is fitness and wellness, we also strive to cultivate a community-centered environment where everyone feels welcome. You’ll share the studio with people who may not look like you, talk like you, or share your same beliefs — and that’s what makes this space so special. Please be mindful and kind as you share your time and energy here.

Prompt Arrival

2

Tardiness to class is disruptive and disrespectful to the teacher and other students. To avoid being late, aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before class is scheduled to start; this gives you time to relax, breathe, and settle in. The front door will be locked promptly at the start of class for the safety of our teachers, students, and their belongings. Admittance may not occur once class has started.

Respect the Practice

3

Our Yoga and Pilates classes are designed to help you connect deeply to your body and mind, finding both strength and release. Please remember that others are doing the same. Keep conversations to a minimum, be mindful of excessive movement or noise, and respect personal space so everyone can enjoy their own practice without distraction. To help facilitate a distraction free environment, please silence your cell phone and leave it in the cubbies outside of the classroom.

Remove Your Shoes

4

The studio stays most hygienic if everyone leaves their shoes outside the classroom. If you must wear shoes due to medical reasons or are otherwise more comfortable, please ensure they are for indoor use only and not worn outside.

Talk to the Teacher

5

If you have any injuries (past or current) or concerns, talk to the teacher before class. This way, the teacher can recommend variations on certain poses during practice to allow you to reap the benefits without unnecessary strain. Speak up if something doesn’t feel right, but don’t “hog” the teacher during class; if you have lots of concerns, consider scheduling a private session.

Late Cancels and No-Shows

6

We encourage you to sign up ahead of time for the classes you plan on attending, so that the teacher knows who and how many to expect when planning their class. If you are not able to attend a class you are signed up for, we ask that you cancel at least 12 hours in advance for morning and weekend classes, or 4 hours in advance for all other classes. This allows to best make use of our teachers and other clients time - if classes are full and, on a waitlist, a no-show prevents another student from taking class. If a class has too few people signed up (or none at all) it may be pulled from the schedule to respect the teacher's time. Failure to early cancel, or no-shows, will be subject to a $10 fee.

Minimum Class Attendance

7

We require at least 3 people registered in order to hold class - this ensures we are honoring our instructors time and the studio's ability to remain financially viable. We typically try to wait until about 2 hours before class to give people ample time to sign up before making a decision. If class ends up being cancelled, we try to let you know ASAP and suggest other options that day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause

Membership Contracts

8

Our $125/Month Unlimited Classes Membership is a 6-month contact. By signing up for this membership, you are committing to have your credit card on file charged monthly for 6 consecutive months, and this will auto-renew on a month-to-month basis at the end of 6 months for the convenience of our clients. Early termination of this contract is subject to a $100 early termination fee. If you do not want to commit to the 6-month contract, please select from our other membership or package options.
